NO ADDITIVES,
NO PRESERVATIVES,
JUST FOOD.

You won’t find any “numbers” in our ingredient list — it’s short and sweet — just food.
Bees Blessing produces the only honey-sweetened all natural cordials made in New Zealand, from local and organic ingredients. It’s a family business run by Jo Donnelly and Ian Stewart with the oversight of their 6-year-old daughter Emare!

Some five years ago Bees Blessing began selling honey at the local Riverbank market, gathered from hives on their 22-hectare “Kau Whero Farm” in the Mangaroa Valley. An extra plentiful honey harvest inspired Ian to get crafty in the kitchen. He devised honey-themed marinades, dressings and cordials which went to market too.
The stand-out favourite was the Lemon, Honey & Ginger cordial. Many more flavours of honey-based cordials have since followed, including the “Knock Your Socks Off” Lemon Honey and Ginger (this packs an extra punch for real ginger lovers), Lemon & Honey, Cider Vinegar & Honey (great health tonic), Strawberry, Elderflower (seasonal) and Mulled Lemon & Honey.

The products are grounded by Jo and Ian’s own farm lifestyle and a strong belief in additive and preservative-free food. The right ingredients are sourced as locally as possible – like the elderflowers from their own farm, organic lemons from Hawkes Bay and pure New Zealand honey.
Every cordial recipe is a Bees Blessing original, sometimes based on a traditional favourite (like Lemon, Honey & Ginger or Cider Vinegar & Honey) and sometimes delightfully unexpected (like the Mulled Lemon & Honey).
The cordials are meticulously hand crafted and feedback suggests that they simply taste better than others.
In the Wellington area, Bees Blessing cordials can be found in Commonsense Organics, Moore Wilson and selected cafes.
