We are constantly receiving enquiries from both overseas and New Zealand businesses wanting to do business in New Zealand. These enquiries translate into opportunities for our members.

As well as keeping you up-to-date with enquiries we receive, we can also provide you with advice and information on developing trade relationships and getting into exporting and importing.

Providing introduction letters

The Hutt Valley Chamber of Commerce can provide you with introduction letters to overseas Chambers of Commerce. This form of letter can pave the way for you to easily develop relationships with overseas Chambers of Commerce and gain access to assistance from them.

ATA Carnets

An ATA Carnet is a passport for your goods. If you travel with commercial samples, professional equipment, scientific equipment, goods for use or display at exhibitions and fairs or sports equipment for re-import to New Zealand, you need a Carnet.

ATA Carnets are effectively a "passports for goods" which, by allowing easy cross international boarder flow of items such as trade samples and company equipment, take the hassle out of dealing with Customs.

A Certificate of Origin is a document which can be used to satisfy your buyers that the products exported are wholly obtained or produced or manufactured in a particular country.
