As the Hutt Valley Chamber of Commerce continues to plan its functions calendar, we would like to offer Members the opportunity to host a Business Hutt Valley event. Chamber events have always proven to be popular and provide you with an opportunity to show off your business to other Members.
We ask that interested parties:
- Provide a guest speaker or a form of entertainment... this speaker must be approved by the Chamber.
- Provide light refreshments, nibbles and a business card prize draw.
- We recommend that you use your own premises, but the Chamber's boardroom can be utilized.
- Use the event to promote services, a new product, even to celebrate a move.
- Provide space for the Chamber to display its banner and promotional material.
- Promote the event to your client database.
The Hutt Valley Chamber of Commerce in return will:
- Promote the event to the Hutt Valley Business Community. The attendance level is currently around 50-80
people.
- Co-ordinate registrations, payment and do our best to ensure we reach maximum capacity.
Business After Fives
A Business After Fice (BA5) is the most popular event for hosting. BA5s generally run for 2hours, starting at 5.30pm. This allows for at least one hour's networking. We recommend you host the event on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.
The Chamber's key objective when hosting a function is to give Members the opportunity to meet other Members, make new business contacts and have a great time along the way.
