Business after Fives are free to members thanks to the companies hosting the event. Chamber Members also attend breakfasts & lunches for a small fee.

Business after Fives
Business After Fives, or ba5s, are networking evenings hosted by Chamber member companies. Members use these low-key after five evenings to interactively promote their products and services while networking with Chamber guests.
ba5s take place at the host company's premises, and are enthusiastically supported by Chamber members. They provide the perfect opportunity for members to network, socialise, share experiences and make valuable business connections in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. Refreshments are served throughout the evening and the host often makes a brief presentation about their business.
Hosting a ba5 is an ideal way to involve others in your business activities. The Chamber organises and markets the event to a targeted list on your behalf, as well as promoting it online through www.hutt-chamber.org.nz and in an e-newsletter. Hosting companies are required to cover the mailout, venue and catering costs.

Breakfast
In any one year the Chamber hosts a variety of breakfasts. Guest Speakers such as: Tim Shadbolt, Melissa Moon, Past Olympians, Steve Gurney, Phill Goff, Keith Quinn, Brendon Telfer, Dr Dave, Trade Me, Sir Colin Meads, Billy Graham
Lunches
In any one year the Chamber hosts a variety of lunches. Guest Speakers such as: Peter Snell, Graham Lowe, Suzanne Paul, Dick Taylor, Jason Barrell, Hon Bill English
Golf Tournament
The Chamber hosts an Ambrose Golf Tournament at the beginning of the year. The venue for this tournament is the Hutt Golf Club. Golf tournaments are popular, team building excursions.
An Ambrose tournament makes golf fun for all, with many managers using the day as a reward for diligent employees, a networking opportunity with clients or a morale booster for companies.
Charity Quiz Night
The Chamber hosts a Charity Quiz night once a year for a deserving Charity
This event gives the opportunity for businesss owners to take their staff out for a night and help raised some much needed funs for the choosen charity
Her Business Wellington
Meetings are informal, with networking, socialising, trading, mentoring and relaxing being the key ingredients. Successful role models educate and enlighten by speaking about their experiences and this is an empowering format facilitated part-time by Her Business Network Coordinators who operate their own successful businesses in your community.
Business Expo
The Chamber hosts an expos every year at the Town Hall. These expos are a great marketing opportunity for members wanting an informal and interactive way of promoting their products and services to other businesses.
