After an absence of four years, the Business Excellence Awards came back as part of the business year in Hutt City starting in 2007.

This is one event where you can believe the saying 'size doesn't matter'.

What really does matter is how you run your business and how it stacks up when you measure it against other businesses. If you think you've got what it takes, then you should enter the Business Excellence Awards later on this year.

We weren't kidding when we made business excellence part of the name. Our judges look at how you manage the different aspects of your business and what sort of results you are getting. We ask about your business plan, your staff management, your customers and your innovative ideas. And if you get to the finals or take out the category prize, we make sure you get the recognition you deserve for having a great business.

The Hutt Valley Business Excellence Awards are open to any business with a base within the Hutt.

The 2011  Westpac Hutt Valley Chamber of Commerce Business Awards will be later on this year. We will keep you posted on updates.
